early detection saves lives
Insurance companies generally cover routine screening mammograms one time every 12 months. Please be sure to schedule your next screening mammogram 12 months after your previous mammogram. The American Cancer Society recommends one mammogram between the ages of 35 and 40 for all women with no breast problems or personal history of breast cancer.
After the age of 40, an annual mammogram is recommended. Patients under the age of 35 or who have breast problems or personal history of breast cancer should contact their physician before scheduling a mammogram. Thank you for choosing Premier Radiology for your breast health!
